Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained some fame. Calvano was born in California and was first fascinated by gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano determined to pursue an acting career. In a CBS show "NCIS", she debuted in 2010. The big screen debut came a year later, in the biographical crime-drama film 'J Edgar'. Over the years, she has been recognized as one of the top young actresses working within the field today. In 2011, she received a nomination for the Young Artist Award, Best performance by an Actor in the Younger Years of Actress in a Television Series due to her performance in "NCIS". In 2013, she was named a second time for a Young Artist Award. This is for her role on the Disney XD show 'Kickin The 'It'. Calvano was a key character in "Mom" which was the show's the first three seasons of and also made several cameos in Season four. Calvano's role as a rising star on Mom was recognized with an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is awarded to female actresses.
